About Me

Hello, I'm Brian. This is my first attempt at a web page, so please forgive me if it don't look too cool. I'm a 30-something male who is engaged to be married in the spring to my fiancee, Zha-Zha, who is from the Philippine Islands. Of course, I am interested in news of the Philippines so I will provide some links to interesting sites of the P.I. Also I'm a very big fan of the Purdue University athletic teams and will try to keep up-dated on the Boilermakers. The Purdue Boilermakers
|
The Boilermaker football team beat up on the Oklahoma State Cowboys in the Alamo Bowl winning by a score of 33-20, setting several new Alamo Bowl records. The future looks bright for the Joe Tiller era. But the Basketball teams suffered a couple of disappointing losses this week, The 5th ranked men's team looked awful in losing thier Big Ten opener to Michigan State. Hopefully they will wake up and get it going again on Friday at Minnesota. the Lady Boilers also suffered a loss at Illinois in their league opener, after letting a 18 point lead slip away. This loss was not too disappointing though as the Illini are a Top 10 ranked team and it was on the road. I'm sure the young Lady Boiler squad is learning some lessons along the way and will be very difficult to beat in the latter half of the season. I'm sure both of the Boiler hoop teams will bounce back and contend for the title.

Some of my other interests...
|
I am also a big fan of the Indiana Pacers, the Indianapolis Colts and sometimes the Chicago Cubs. The baseball strike kind of turned me off of Major League Baseball. Also I am an active tennis player with a 4.0 USTA ranking and play in some USTA sanctioned tournaments during the summer and am currently participating in two indoor tennis leagues. I have an electic taste in music, and like some of almost all kinds of music. I also have a large collection of compact disc's. I love all animals and have a pet cat I call Sis. I also have many more interest's which I will go into later, when I update this page.
